Found Kitchen and Social House in Evanston, winner of the 2013 Bibb Gourmand, is a super groovy, chef-driven restaurant that is relaxed, unpretentious, and committed to a spectacular guest experience! Found has been open for almost three years and will be opening a new restaurant, also in Evanston, in the Spring. We are looking for individuals to grow with us.

The Private Dining Director-Door Supervisor we seek must be passionate and deeply knowledgeable about food, beverage and service. The candidate must have at least 5 years experience in the industry, must have experience in similar minded or quality operations and have worked in areas of catering/private dining, on the floor as well as on the door.

The candidate is someone who has booked, sold and worked private events, has serving and host experience. We are looking for someone who is a leader and self starter, someone who remains cool under pressure and someone who genuinely loves people and has positive energy.

This full-time position is 5 days a week with hours from approximately 11:30-9:30. It entails booking events and doing admin related to events during the day and being on the door in the evenings. The Private Dining Director will also be the liaison between the Guest and the Chef and the Guest and Captain.

In addition to being versed in food and wine; the position will require applicant to have excellent communication and organizational skills, experience in open table, micro-soft word, google calendars, excel and any Admin or AV related knowledge pertaining to selling and booking events. It is a plus to possess skills in in-design and graphic arts.

Annual salary is a a combination of base pay and commission. Starting ball park combined salary (based on current business level) high 30’s-low 40’s.
